BiMi Bags evoke days spent under the summer sun in faraway places - the sort of coastal towns where palm fronds provide the best shade and smoky mezcal can be traced to the soil where it was harvested - the idea for our line started a little closer to home, in a garage in Rhode Island. It was in this setting that Jennifer first came upon an empty coffee bag, an object that spoke to hard work, origins, daily habits and ambition. It is how she started to step into her own ambition, taking a seat at her Great Grandmother’s silver Singer to work with the fabric, to test its limits and how well it could take a stitch. It was an escape, as well as the evolution of her passion as an artist - the next step for an Actress transforming visions of art from camera to fabric.
